At the request of the Shetland Island Council we were asked to undertake the works of constructing a new path at Nesting Primary School.
The proposed location for the path was overgrown, with several sections draining poorly and persistent ponding throughout the winter months. These conditions, particularly during wet weather, render the area unusable. Concerns regarding safety and accessibility had been raised by the school –
Following the completion of the works, we received enthusiastic praise from teachers, parents, and members of the community who regularly use the path. Their positive feedback highlighted not only the improved functionality and safety of the area but also the care and attention to detail evident throughout the project. It was deeply rewarding to see the impact of our efforts so clearly appreciated. The job was a resounding success, both in terms of technical execution and community satisfaction.
