We were commissioned by the Scalloway Community Development Company to undertake the construction of a new community campsite, designed to enhance local tourism infrastructure and provide a welcoming, functional space for visitors.
The scope of works included full earthworks, external works, drainage installation, and resurfacing. Particular attention was given to ground preparation and water management to ensure long-term durability and user comfort.
Upon completion, the project was met with a very positive reception from both the local community and campers who now regularly use the site. Feedback highlighted the quality of workmanship and the positive impact the facility has had on local engagement and visitor experience.
